District leaders told the board that enrollment at Nibley Park has not reached levels envisioned when the K–8 model was created and that the district struggles to offer a full middle-school program to a small cohort. “We believe students would be better served in middle school,” District staff member Doctor Grant said, describing the administration’s recommendation to reconfigure Nibley Park to K–6 for the upcoming school year.
