The Paulding County Board of Education on March 18 unanimously approved several routine business items including a contract renewal for custodial services, amendments to state capital outlay applications and the superintendent’s personnel report covering items 1–61.
Superintendent Steve Barnett presented the consent agenda and asked the board to approve three items: a renewal of the contract with HES Facilities, Inc. (custodial services; originally solicited through a request for proposal as presented), a resolution to amend the Georgia Department of Education capital outlay application for Moses Middle School, and a resolution to amend the Georgia Department of Education capital outlay application for Baggett and Poole elementary schools. The board approved the consent agenda by unanimous vote.
The board also approved the personnel report for items numbered 1 through 61. Board members voted unanimously to approve those personnel actions.
Other routine actions at the meeting included adoption of the meeting agenda and approval of the March 4, 2025 regular‑session minutes; both motions passed unanimously. No substantive policy changes or contested items were reported during the votes.
