Bel Air increases Armory rental rates by $10; board reappoints two volunteers

The Bel Air Board of Town Commissioners on March 17 approved changes to the Bel Air Armory fee schedule and reappointed two volunteer members to town commissions.
The board voted unanimously to adopt a resolution that increases individual and business hourly lease rates for the Bel Air Armory by $10 and sets the rate for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving equal to the Thursday–Sunday individual/business rate. Commissioner Taylor moved the resolution; Commissioner Chismar seconded. Town staff recorded votes of Aye from Commissioner Chismar, Commissioner Taylor and Chair Eddington and announced the resolution approved.
Also on the consent items the board reappointed Todd Boyle to the Bel Air Economic and Community Development Commission for a three‑year term effective immediately and reappointed Marion McCarron to the Bel Air Tree Committee for a three‑year term. Commissioner Taylor moved Boyle’s reappointment; Commissioner Chismar seconded. The board approved Boyle’s reappointment by unanimous voice vote. Chair Eddington moved the reappointment of Marion McCarron; Commissioner Taylor seconded. The board approved McCarron’s reappointment unanimously.
