Staff said the climate work is funded through a legislative grant and technical products produced for the process include a greenhouse-gas inventory and a climate‑vulnerability assessment; those technical documents will inform the policy choices included in the plan.
The commission agreed to collect member feedback ahead of the next meeting and to place the refined set of recommended climate actions on a future agenda for discussion. There was no vote to adopt specific climate goals at this meeting.
