Thurston Regional Planning Council outlines 25-year transportation plan, flags Yelm projects and resilience gaps

The RTP matters because projects must be listed in the regional plan to be eligible for many federal and state transportation funds, and the plan must be consistent with local comprehensive plans under state law. Osterberg said the draft will be released for public review at the end of the month, with a public comment period through April and May and an adoption target in July.
