White Oak Science Gateway and life-science centers: The Economic Development Committee recommended amendments that accelerate the White Oak Science Gateway Redevelopment Project timeline, concentrating much of the work into FY26 and aiming to complete the project by FY28. Staff said the change reflects progress by the development team and coordination with GSA and county planning. The committee also endorsed funding for life-science and technology centers; staff noted a $1 million reduction in expected state aid for incubator upgrades.
