"At this point ... that left potentially filing a lawsuit and that's where we are now," the resident said.
Mayor Portim Whitaker and staff were previously reported by the resident as having consulted legal counsel; no formal council action or investigation was initiated during Monday's meeting. The council proceeded with its agenda items; the resident's remarks were entered into the public record.
