Staff proposes trifold executive-summary printing for comp plan; commission discusses options and approves routine minutes/adjournment motions

Planning staff presented options and costs to print a five-page executive summary of the comprehensive plan and discussed vendor quotes, layout formats and circulation quantities.

Paula (staff) reviewed estimates from a local printer (Art Printing), Staples and Vistaprint. She said Vistaprint returned higher prices and that Art Printing quoted between $2.95 and $3.95 per copy for a 100-copy run of a two-color trifold option; Staples’ quotes were substantially higher. Staff recommended a locally produced two-color trifold printed on heavier stock to distribute to potential applicants, realtors and interested residents. Commissioners expressed a preference for keeping production local and for the trifold format; Paula said she would confirm final dimensions and higher-volume pricing if needed.
