The certification motion was moved by Member Mosbacher and seconded by Member Fisher and passed with four votes in favor, one member absent. The vote formally confirmed the results displayed to the board at the meeting.
The board also approved a three-week AIP schedule for the June 17 statewide Public Service Commission election. The AIP plan—set by the state election calendar—will begin Tuesday, May 27 (the Monday is Memorial Day) and run through Friday, June 13, with extended hours during the final week; the board approved the schedule after a motion by Member Fisher, seconded by Member Efrett. The board’s action adopted the schedule as presented by Director Tate Fall.
Later in the meeting the board voted unanimously to move into an executive session to discuss pending litigation; the motion was moved by Member Fisher and seconded by Member Mosbacher.
