“The Thunderbirds will be back again,” Phil said, and he listed military and civilian performers expected at the show, including the F‑35 and U.S. Navy F/A‑18 Super Hornets, plus civilian performances, a carnival and a balloon show. Phil said planning typically begins about two months before the event but that the full planning process runs almost year‑round; the airport is already coordinating on crowd control and traffic flows.
Phil said the show’s website has preliminary information and that staff will work with organizers on logistics and safety. No formal action was taken at the March 11 meeting related to the air show.
