Finance committee members explained the amount represents sanitary‑district reserve funds assessed to Lake Holiday residents to pay for a dam repair project; no county general funds were required. Staff said the district assessed residents an additional sanitary fee historically to cover the project and the appropriation documents and records the payoff.
The board approved the appropriation by roll‑call vote; supervisors present voted aye.
