HR Director Kate Baldwin summarized the recruitment process and said Bradley “ranked the top candidate” after an extensive outreach that attracted more than 40 applicants. Baldwin and management staff praised Bradley’s experience in budgeting, capital planning, grant acquisition and labor negotiations.
Council members from across the dais welcomed Bradley. Councilmember Eric Schmidt said Bradley showed a “collaborative mindset and commitment to fostering teamwork,” while Councilmember John Radke and others cited her municipal experience and community focus. Bradley told the council she was “truly honored” and said she looks forward to relocating her young family to Sterling Heights and joining the city’s leadership team.
