The proposal, from applicant Mike Dorman, calls for demolishing an aging house on the 2.7-acre lot and building a narrower single-family dwelling. Jamie Crawford, the contract planner with AKS Engineering presenting the staff report, said "they are essentially staying out of the coastal erosion setback" and that staff found no impacts from a ground-level deck as proposed.
