During a brief work session on March 17 the House Agriculture, Land Use, Natural Resources, and Water Committee opened consideration of House Bill 2647 and re-referred the measure to the House Committee on Housing and Homelessness.
Committee staff summarized the bill as authorizing cities to bring certain lands into urban growth boundaries for light industrial and open-space uses and noted the measure is fiscal light and has a subreferral to Housing and Homelessness. Vice Chair Finger McDonald moved the bill to the floor with no recommendation and referred it to the House Committee on Housing and Homelessness; the motion passed on a voice vote and the committee closed the work session on HB 2647.
No formal roll-call vote was recorded in the transcript.
