One council member asked whether two accessible parking spaces meet ADA requirements for the rodeo event; the building inspector answered that the current guidance is one accessible space for each 25 parking spaces and that two accessible spaces are appropriate for an estimated 50‑space event.
A council member moved to approve the permanent concrete installation; the motion passed by roll call. Staff said the cost will be covered from general fund reserves and that any remaining implementation details (scheduling, contractor coordination and minimal maintenance) will be handled by public works.
