The Zoning Board of Adjustment continued two cases (Z24‑44, an administrative appeal alleging unlawful vehicle storage, and Z24‑47, a special exception for a contractor’s yard) to Feb. 6 at the applicants’ request.
Board members discussed how many continuances had already been granted to these applicants and whether the board’s bylaws or code impose a three‑continuance limit before an applicant must start the application anew. Several members recalled multiple prior continuances and agreed staff should review the file to confirm the number of continuances and whether any prior hearing acceptance constituted the start of a hearing for purposes of the limit. The motion to continue was made, seconded and carried without recorded opposition.
