The council did not reopen the public hearing on the ordinance at second reading; instead, a motion was made and seconded to adopt the ordinance "amending development code article 2 procedure types and have it read by title only," and the council proceeded to a roll call vote.
The roll call recorded affirmative votes from Councilors Seth, Rob Pell, Joel, Eric, Kathleen, Indra and Victoria; Councilor Rick voted no during the second-reading vote. The mayor announced, "Motion passes for second reading." The ordinance language shown in the packet states it adds public-notice requirements for certain land-use applications.
