No quorum at Beaufort County recreation meeting; agenda item removed and minutes approval deferred to May 1

At the start of the session, a staff member asked to amend the agenda to remove fee waiver item number 7 because the speaker for that item would not attend. “We do need to request to amend the to remove the fee waiver number 7,” the deputy director said. The chair noted the body could not officially approve the agenda without a quorum and that minutes from the January 9 meeting would be considered at the next meeting on May 1 at Beaufort County Council Chambers.
Because there was no quorum, no motions or votes were held during this meeting and staff deferred approvals and any agenda items requiring action to the May 1 meeting.
