Anderson described the current system as originally made by Tandberg before being acquired by Cisco and said the upgrade would allow the fire department to conduct briefings and training without travel between stations. There was no public testimony opposing the purchase and no additional questions that altered the staff recommendation.
Action: The Committee added the Burwood Group purchase to the consent agenda; no separate roll‑call vote on the contract was recorded during the Committee of the Whole meeting. The item will appear on the council consent agenda for formal approval.
