Richard (staff member) said the vendor will map the infrastructure, and city crews will then visit sites to photograph features and confirm pipe materials and invert elevations.
Staff said the project supports compliance with increasing stormwater inspection requirements and will allow the city to manage stormwater infrastructure the same way it manages other assets. Council approved first and second readings; the ordinance was recorded as council bill 69-15 becoming ordinance 71-57. Richard said the vendor was already under a master agreement council approved previously and that the task order leverages that standing agreement.
Richard said the digital templates would allow the city to schedule inspections and capture site photographs, facilitating more consistent maintenance records. Councilmembers approved the measure by roll call.
