The Urbana Historic Preservation Commission reported receiving written communication and a recommendation concerning Section 106 related to the Urbana Civic Center and said it would defer discussion until members could review the materials.

During the meeting, the chair noted an email from Phyllis (Phyllis Williams) that included PACA’s recommendation on how the commission should proceed regarding the Civic Center lot and Section 106 matters. The chair said the commission needs time to "better understand" the written communication and the recent presentation before having a substantive discussion.

No action, motion or vote was taken at the meeting. Commissioners said they would review the email and associated materials before taking up the matter at a future meeting or study session.
