At the Aug. 20, 2025 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, county staff reported two personnel updates. The County Executive has appointed a new Planning and Zoning Commissioner, recorded in the meeting as Bob Ni Miller, who has taken the oath and completed training and will begin service at the next meeting. County staff also announced the retirement of Rich Necho, development review division director, after 39 years with St. Charles County; staff said interviews are underway to fill the position.
Staff noted the commission’s membership is 10 positions and that increasing membership will make it easier to secure quorums for future meetings. County staff also reminded the public that applications for board membership are accepted through the County Executive’s Office and that a recent update on the county master plan (presented to County Council on Aug. 11) is available on the county website.
