The Soda Springs City Council approved a contract award for Phase 2 of the 2025 sidewalk project to A Plus Contractors at a bid price of $331,600.

Staff reported that the awarded bid exceeded available grant funds by roughly $32,000; council approved covering the difference from the city streets budget. The motion to accept the bid carried after a roll call where one council member abstained.

Council direction included authorizing the city to issue a notice of award, require the contractor to provide an updated construction schedule and insurance, and to proceed with standard contract execution steps so construction can be scheduled. City staff said they will coordinate detail work and do in‑field meetings with the contractor ahead of construction.
