Commission approves printing and vehicle-graphics contracts; assessor notices contract estimated at $59,805

The Christian County Commission approved two procurement actions during the consent portion of the regular session: a contract for assessment-list printing and mailing and a one‑year renewal for vehicle graphics used by the sheriff’s office. Purchasing Manager Kim presented results of ITB 2025-7 (assessment-list printing, processing and mailing). Kim said three proposals were received — Data Integrators, Edward J. Rice, and Input Technology — and that Input Technology was the lowest and best overall provider. Kim reported the estimate for the assessor-related work at about $59,805, compared with $65,331 on the previous contract. Kim also said the bidder offered a postage rate of $0.58 per piece. The commission approved ITB 2025-7 by voice vote; minutes record a motion, a second and an “aye” vote but do not record individual roll-call tallies. The commission then approved a first one-year renewal of ICB 2024-12 with Ozark Printing for graphics applied to Christian County Sheriff’s Office vehicles. Purchasing staff said the vendor kept pricing the same as last year and had been the lowest bidder on the original solicitation. The approval was recorded by voice vote after a motion and second. Why it matters: the assessment-list contract covers statutory cycles for property-value notices. Purchasing staff explained the assessor issues value-change notices on odd-numbered years for all real property and sends annual personal-property assessment mailings. Bidders and postage rates affect the county’s cost to notify taxpayers. No additional county action was required; both items passed on the consent agenda.
