Fenton committee votes to pay Riverchase YMCA pool repair bills

Alderman Hills moved to pay for the repairs; Alderman Wissbrock seconded the motion.
The matter passed on a roll call: Alderman Hills, Alderman Westbrock, Alderman Breitschaff, Alderman Harrell, Alderman McClause, Alderman Jokers and Alderman Mazurang all voted aye. No opposing votes were recorded.
The committee said it wants to preserve its relationship with the YMCA and avoid further delay on the repairs. No dollar total for the combined repairs was specified in the discussion recorded in the meeting packet.
The item will be included on a forthcoming board agenda for final action under the council’s consent procedures.
