City moves to absorb small eCode360 price increase for municipal code hosting

Fenton’s committee approved Sept. 4 a staff request to accept a $100 annual increase to the city’s eCode360 premium subscription that hosts the municipal code online. The city’s current subscription has not increased since 2018; the vendor has notified the city the 2026 annual fee will be $1,295.
The agreement with General Code (Sullivan Publications) was originally approved by ordinance in 2014. Staff said eCode360 is the platform residents use to access the municipal code online and recommended approving the modest increase to maintain continuity of service. The committee approved the increase on a voice vote and the item will be implemented in the FY2026 budget.
