The Sherwood City Council unanimously approved its consent agenda at the July 15 meeting, adopting minutes, reappointing cultural arts commissioners and library advisory board members, and authorizing a contract for certified arborist and tree services.

Items approved on the consent agenda included approval of the minutes for the June 17 and June 24 council meetings and several resolutions reappointing or appointing individuals to advisory boards. The council approved: a reappointment of Casey Chen to the Sherwood Cultural Arts Commission; reappointments of Estella Schafer and Jennifer Kasler to the same commission; authorization for the city manager to execute a contract for certified arborist and tree services; appointment of Clifton W. Taylor as a Senior Advisory Board representative to the Transportation System Plan Update Advisory Committee; and three library advisory board appointments (Annalise Ellis, Colleen Carroll and Tracy Enright), among other listed items.

A council member moved to approve the consent agenda and it received a second; the mayor called for the vote and members present answered “aye.” The motion passed with the council members present voting in favor.

Ending: The consent items were approved by voice vote with no recorded dissent and the council proceeded to presentations and citizen comments.
