The Concord School Board confirmed two acting administrator appointments and several personnel items at its Sept. 8 meeting, approving an acting Concord High School principal, an acting principal at Christa McAuliffe School, a new part‑time music teacher, and the slate of fall‑sports coaches.
Superintendent and staff presented two acting principal nominations: Chris Gallo for Concord High School and Lindsay Nye for Christa McAuliffe (Christa McAuliffe School). The administration said both nominees hold required certification and have relevant prior experience. A motion to accept the recommendations passed on a voice vote.
Personnel staff also presented a 0.6 music teacher appointment at Runlet (Annalie Lombard) combined with a 0.17 assignment at another school; the board approved that hire. The board also approved confirmations for fall coaches as presented in board materials and a handout distributed at the meeting.
Board members asked about filling an assistant principal vacancy; administrators said a substitute is working in the role and the position is posted and actively being recruited. No personnel items were rejected at the Sept. 8 meeting.
