The Northwell Village Board on July 21 approved an ordinance granting a special-use permit and site-plan approval for a veterinary clinic at 70 Hanson Boulevard, staff said. The project is part of the Willard's Crossing planned unit development and was presented to the board after Planning Commission approval.
"This is part of the Willard's Crossing PUD for Woodman's. It meets all of the PUD requirements and village code requirements," Nathan, a staff member, said at the meeting. The presentation noted the use of a veterinary office is a special use under village code; the ordinance approves the special use with stated conditions and the site plans.
Planning Commission considered the proposal July 1 and recommended approval with conditions, staff said. The board moved, seconded and approved the ordinance; roll call votes were recorded as yes from Trustees Lowery, Nejvedge, Christiansen and Gaitley.
No amendments to the ordinance or additional conditions beyond those noted by staff were recorded in the meeting minutes.
