Mayor Frank Savarino announced distribution to Interfaith Food Pantry (Carol Stream), Milton Township food pantry, Neighborhood Food Pantry on Army Trail Road (Bloomingdale), Wayne Township Food Pantry and Bloomingdale Township. Milton Township Supervisor Buffy Higgins Beard accepted on the township's behalf and thanked the board. Betty Klein of Interfaith Food Pantry and Kate Montiglione of Neighborhood Food Pantry each expressed appreciation for Carol Stream's ongoing support.
Kate Montiglione reported network impact figures: "In the past year, as a result of your support and that of many others, we served 66,000 visits across our network that reached 226,000 neighbors. Of that, 28,000 were children, adults, and seniors in Carol Stream." Pantry representatives asked the village to supply high‑resolution logos and contact information for a sponsor book the raffle committee will publish.
No board vote was required; the presentation was part of routine civic outreach and charitable distribution of community‑raised funds.
