Board adopts pre‑annexation agreement to allow sewer connection for 2 N 463 Highland Ave

The Village of Glendale Heights Village Board on June 26 adopted ordinance 2025‑26 approving a pre‑annexation agreement that will allow an existing single‑family dwelling at 2 N 463 Highland Avenue to connect to the village sanitary sewer system.

Mayor Giovanni Giannelli opened a public hearing earlier in the meeting to receive comment on the proposed pre‑annexation agreement and no members of the public offered comment during the hearing. The board then closed the hearing and later adopted the ordinance after waiving first reading and calling the question by roll call.

The ordinance authorizes village staff to execute the pre‑annexation agreement and to take necessary administrative steps to allow the property to connect to municipal sanitary service in accordance with village standards. The board did not record additional conditions in public discussion and no citizen opposition was recorded at the hearing.
