Council narrows outdoor-dining season and phases permit-fee increase after staff review
Summary
After a staff presentation and extensive council debate about parking loss, safety and aesthetics, the Committee of the Whole agreed to set outdoor-dining permits from May 1 to Nov. 1 and to phase an annual parking-space permit fee from $300 (next year) to $500 the following year.

Corey, business development specialist, told the committee staff recommended moving the permit season from April 1–Dec. 1 to June 1–Oct. 1 and raising the annual parking-space fee from $150 to $500.
