Plan and Design Commission continues Deerfield townhouse design review to Aug. 19

Commission staff said the applicant requested time to refine its submittal. The commission approved a motion to continue the item; commissioners voted in favor by voice. Staff notified attendees that "there'll be no new notice on this matter" and the hearing was continued to a date certain.
The continuance means the commission will not take a substantive vote on design review, variations or related findings for the Deerfield Road project at the July 15 meeting. Any revised materials will be considered at the Aug. 19 meeting and made available in the meeting packet. Interested parties do not receive a new public notice for the continued hearing.
The commission's action was procedural only; no conditions, findings of fact, or votes on merits were taken at this session. The continued item remains on the commission's calendar for Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
