Connor, representing Wise Brothers Contract, told the board the project team revised the design internally and will use smooth James Hardie paneling for the boxed‑out portico. He said the final door will be a solid panel with an arched top panel rather than a true archtop glass door because of header and ceiling‑height constraints.

David Yates read the motion specifying the door change, elimination of lap siding on the portico in favor of a flat smooth panel, and that the exterior and interior faces of the bump‑out be paneled to match the front. The motion passed on a unanimous voice vote.

Board members also confirmed the portico depth will match the base and that the railing material for the deck is aluminum as shown in the submittal. The applicant will provide updated elevations and material selections as needed for staff review before building permits are issued.
