The West Linn–Wilsonville School District board on Thursday approved Reveal (McGraw Hill) as the district’s K–5 math curriculum and added a district license for the ALEKS digital component to support differentiated practice.
The decision follows a yearlong adoption process led by the Department of Teaching and Learning that included 51 teachers, instructional coordinators and multilingual specialists who reviewed five publisher programs, classroom materials and state standards before narrowing the choices to three finalists. "We were unanimously ranking Reveal as a top choice," Dr. Barb Soysen, director of teaching and learning, told the board during the presentation.
