Community member asks how to start pickleball club at local schools; district says clubs possible but not a sanctioned sport

Perkins advised that if students show interest and there is a staff sponsor to supervise, the activity can be offered as a club rather than a district‑sanctioned sport: “If there's student interest and then they have a sponsor, someone that will supervise that club, then they can offer it as a club,” Perkins said.
