The Bossier Parish School Board voted to approve the 2025–26 Professional Personnel Evaluation (PPPE) and to accept administrative committee recommendations to revise multiple district policies during its Aug. 7 regular session.
Terry Howe, director of human resources, told the board she had emailed members a copy of the 2025–26 PPPE and that “all items are in order” and that new positions had been previously approved by the board. A motion to approve the PPPE was made by Miss Brotherton, seconded by Miss Darby, and the motion passed.
Logan McConathy, chairperson of the administrative committee, reported the committee had met at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 7 and recommended revisions to policies IFA (Instructional Materials), IFBGA (Computer Access and Use), JBD (Student Absences and Excuses), JCDAF (Bullying and Hazing), JDE (Expulsion), JGCE (Child Abuse), and JGCF (Behavioral Health Support for Students) as recommended by Forethought Consulting Incorporated Council. The committee recommendation (listed on the agenda as item 3.03) was presented and the board voted to approve the item as it came out of committee.
The transcript records motions passing for these items but does not include roll-call vote tallies or individual member votes in the meeting record provided. The committee report and the PPPE approval were presented as routine business and the board treated the items as approved during the session.
