Board members opened the evening by moving the revenue-neutral hearing and the budget hearing to later on the agenda so members of the public could attend at the Edgerton venue. The superintendent reminded the board that the published budget sets the legal maximum spending authority and is based on building needs assessments submitted by schools; final mill levy calculations will be determined after assessed valuation certification in November and may be equal to or lower than the amounts in the adopted budget.
