Board member Lanus asked whether the $150,000 figure was a ceiling; staff confirmed the item is a not-to-exceed amount and that final pricing could be less. Board member Rust voiced support for the engagement and noted prior conversations with the superintendent about special-education concerns in the district. The motion to approve was made and seconded and the board recorded that the motion carried.
