Commissioner Casey Miller moved that the board adopt the consent calendar and later moved to adopt the committee-designation list “in principle,” offering to submit a few suggested language changes. Commissioner Walter Chuck seconded that motion. Commissioners indicated the list largely reflected existing practice; staff confirmed some seats are appointed by external authorities (for example, a state housing-stability council seat appointed by the governor and state senate) and that some items listed are established by separate board order or fall outside the board’s direct purview.
The board approved the motions by voice votes. Commissioners noted they would forward clarifying naming conventions and small edits to staff for incorporation. No ordinance, budget allocation or change to appointments was made at the meeting; the action formalized an internal list for the board’s reference.
