Clark County planning staff recommended approval Tuesday of a design review to expand Hollywood Regional Park by about 87 acres to add new baseball fields, field lighting, scoreboards and related accessory structures.
The recommendation came during a Planning Commission briefing in which Hunter White, principal planner, summarized the item as one of the meeting’s routine matters. “Staff is recommending approval,” White said, and he reported that the Sunrise Town Board recommended approval as well. White said the county had received seven cards in support and one letter in support, and no cards or letters in protest.
