The Clark County Planning Commission on March 5 approved a second extension of time for waivers of development standards for a roughly 110‑acre site south of El Dorado Lane and west of Las Vegas Boulevard South in Enterprise. The applicant’s representative told commissioners public works had received required drainage easements since the original application.
The extension covers waivers for landscaping and permission to allow nonstandard improvements within the right of way in conjunction with future development in a CR (Commercial-Residential) zone within Airport Environs overlays AE‑60 and AE‑65, staff said. The public hearing for the item was opened and immediately recessed prior to the vote; the commission treated it as final action unless appealed.
Commission staff reminded the commission and the public that appeals of final actions must be filed in writing with the Comprehensive Planning Department by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, 08/13/2025, and will be heard by the Board of County Commissioners on Wednesday, 09/03/2025 at 9 a.m., per Title 30. If appealed, mailed notices will be sent to property owners within the original notification radius and to those who signed in at tonight’s meeting.
Liz Olson, the applicant representative, told the commission that the applicant had since submitted the drainage easements public works required. Commissioner Reutman moved to approve the second extension of time for item ET2540064; the motion passed.
The commission did not specify additional conditions beyond the standard requirement that the action is final unless appealed and that additional re‑notification fees may be required if the applicant later modifies the application, staff said.
The item will remain final action unless an eligible party files an appeal within the Title 30 timeframe noted by staff.
