The Town Council approved a request May 22 to allow a food truck operated by Raymond (Raymund) Capana to serve the men’s softball league at Martell Field on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. Capana told the council this will be his third season operating at Martell Field, that health‑department inspections have been completed and he is coordinating event details with town staff, and that the truck typically closed by 9 p.m. "We try to keep it clean outside and inside of the truck," he said. Town staff confirmed that permits related to food service had been obtained. Councilor Peter moved approval with the condition that all permits remain current; the motion passed 5–0–0. Councilors and staff noted the permit can be revoked if litter or other complaints occur.
