Planning staff to seek public input on four master-plan chapters; survey and November forum planned

City planning staff told the Zoning Board of Adjustment that the planning department will solicit public input on four chapters of the city's master plan and will host a public forum in November. Flyers will be included with water bills and materials will be posted on the city website and at city hall.
Ms. Crosley, the planning clerk, said the department is working on draft chapters covering land use, economic development, transportation and cultural resources and encouraged residents to complete the forthcoming survey and attend the forum. She said officials welcome all feedback, positive and critical.
The announcement was made during routine new-business updates near the end of the ZBA meeting. No formal action or vote by the ZBA was requested or taken; staff said additional information will be posted online and around city facilities.
