Town Manager Rick Sawyer described the donation as support for trails and conservation‑area improvements, noting last year’s funds paid for similar projects including a picnic table at the Marston‑Dunlap conservation area. Councilors and staff highlighted that the picnic table is ADA‑compliant, featuring an overhang at one end to allow wheelchair access.
Councilor Bill Carter moved to accept the donation pursuant to RSA 31:95‑b and to authorize the expenditure for the specified items; Councilor Kathleen Bemis seconded. The council voted aye 7–0.
The donation will be applied to purchasing the accessible table and trail maintenance materials this year.
