Strafford County commissioners approved acceptance of a state Community Action (CAC) grant for fiscal year 26–27 totaling $19,000 to support a portion of three staff salaries. County staff said the award is smaller this year because of a prior extension and tighter spending guidance, but the funds can be allocated as originally intended.
County staff indicated the grant documents will be signed and returned. Commissioner Sean moved to authorize acceptance and execution of the grant documents; the motion was seconded and the staff said they would provide the signed paperwork. County staff also noted they would email the executed documents and continue routine grant administration.
