County Attorney Pat Conway told the Broadband County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 7 that attorney John Mara will be appointed as the county’s next deputy county attorney.

Conway said Mara has worked in the county attorney’s office for about 10 years and has served as a lead attorney for several years. Conway said Mara’s start date as deputy will be timed to the current deputy’s final day, with an official swearing-in and internal transition to follow.
