The Liberty City Council on June 2 approved a contract for professional engineering services with Great River Engineering for sewer aerial stream crossing repair and improvements in an amount not to exceed $16,000. The council waived rules to consider the item on first reading and approved the contract unanimously; Mayor Greg Knutson approved the ordinance.

No substantive debate about scope or schedule was recorded in the public meeting. Staff will proceed with the engineering services under the terms authorized by the council.
