Forest Hills board adopts administrative salary schedule and annual policy updates

The Forest Hills Board of Education on July 10 approved the administrative salary schedules and accepted recommended policy updates from Troon.
Board members said the salary schedules comply with Office of Retirement Services requirements that salaries be on a formal schedule so retirement calculations can reference top years of earnings. The meeting chair said the action “formalizes that so that there are any questions with ORS.”
The board also approved routine updates to board policies recommended by Troon, described in the packet as mostly name, address and minor grammatical changes. The meeting chair said these yearly updates are typically received in August but arrived this year in July. Both items passed by roll call vote.
