Resident asks council to rescind unused irrigation easement at private property near Antietam subdivision

He said a section of pipe has already been removed and asked the council to consider rescinding the easement so he could remove remaining pipe and use the land for a small shed and private recreation. Brennan referenced Colorado law categories such as abandonment and necessity in the context of easement rescission.
Council did not take immediate action during the meeting; Brennan said he had sent materials to the city clerk 17 days earlier and sought follow‑up from the city attorney.
